Nationally Board Certified

Kristin Burich just passed her exam to become certified with the National Board of Colon Hydro-Therapy.

The National Board for Colon HydroTherapy (NBCHT) is a nationally recognized body formed to set competency standards for those who practice colon hydrotherapy. It accomplishes its mission by establishing and maintaining a recognized and credible certification program that evaluates the competency of the practitioners.

The National Board for Colon HydroTherapy (NBCHT) was established in 2000 by the International Association for Colon Hydrotherapy (I-ACT), a voluntary, not-for-profit organization. A group of therapists recognized the need to formalize the training and credentialing of those who perform colon hydrotherapy. In recognition of this need and in response to growth in the profession, I-ACT established this organization under its umbrella. Once fully operational and financially stable the NBCHT will become a totally separate and independent organization.
