My name is Kristine. I’m a registered nurse who received my Bachelor’s Degree at Viterbo University. Some of the experiences I’ve had include hospital nursing in the medical/surgical unit, ER, labor and delivery, maternity ward, Coumadin Clinic, home care, and briefly as a county Birth to 3 nurse. I was one of the first team members to bring SART (Sexual Assault Response Team) to our county where I was on-call as a SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) nurse.
I have been married for 28 years and raised three sons. We live in rural Wisconsin on a dairy farm where we’ve worked together over the years to increase our herd and make many improvements.
I am very involved on the farm with tasks ranging from bookwork, fieldwork, lawn care and daily duties. We also raise beef cattle which makes springtime exciting with all the new babies.
In my spare time I enjoy riding my horse or motorcycle, quilting and spending time with my family which includes Shimmer, a very spoiled boxer.
Even though I have worked in the medical field, I have been seeing a naturopath doctor for 20 years for continual wellbeing. In nursing school we were taught “mind, body, spirit”. That is so important to me. We all need to be reminded how amazing our bodies are and how to listen within. I enjoy working with colonic clients and witnessing their improvements for better health.
