Frequently asked questions

What is Endermologie and how does it work?

Endermologie is a mechanical massage technique. A handheld head with motorized rollers and gentle suction glides over the skin, lifting and rolling the tissue in rhythmic patterns. It is designed to support circulation and lymphatic flow and to leave skin looking smoother. Many guests find it surprisingly relaxing. Learn more on our Endermologie page.

Where can I get lymphatic drainage massage near St. Paul?

Healing Within is at 410 Little Canada Rd E in Little Canada, close to St. Paul, Roseville, Maplewood, Shoreview, Vadnais Heights and Arden Hills. Endermologie is part of our body alignment services, alongside hyperbaric sessions and craniosacral therapy. Book a 60-minute session on our booking page.

What are the benefits of lymphatic drainage massage?

Lymphatic drainage massage is gentle work meant to support the body's natural fluid movement. Many guests say they feel less puffy, more relaxed and lighter afterward. It is a soothing, restorative wellness service, not a medical treatment. If you have been diagnosed with lymphedema or lipedema, please work with a certified lymphedema therapist under your doctor's direction.

Does Endermologie help with the appearance of cellulite?

Many guests choose Endermologie because they like how their skin looks and feels afterward, often smoother and more toned in appearance. Any visible change is temporary and varies from person to person, and regular sessions are usually needed to maintain the look. Endermologie does not remove cellulite or fat. Our team can talk through realistic expectations during a free consultation.

How many Endermologie sessions do you need?

Many guests begin with a series of sessions close together, then move to a maintenance rhythm, such as once or twice a month. Others simply book whenever they want to feel refreshed. Your schedule depends on your goals and budget. Members get discounts and priority booking, which helps with a series; see our membership options.

How often should you get a lymphatic drainage massage?

There is no single right answer. Some people like a weekly session for a few weeks, while others come monthly as part of their self-care. Notice how you feel in the days afterward and adjust. Pairing Endermologie with gentle movement, such as our Power Plate, or a session in the far infrared sauna is a popular way to round out a visit.

What do you wear during Endermologie?

Endermologie is typically done over a thin, snug body garment that lets the rollers glide smoothly; your practitioner will let you know exactly what to wear when you arrive. Come in comfortable clothes that are easy to change, skip heavy lotions or oils on your skin that day and bring a water bottle.

Who should not get a lymphatic drainage massage?

Please check with your doctor before booking if you have congestive heart failure, a history of blood clots or DVT, an active infection or cellulitis, kidney failure, or active cancer. Let us know if you are pregnant, bruise easily, take blood thinners or have had recent surgery. We review your health history before every first session.

What should you do after a lymphatic drainage massage?

Drink water, move gently and give yourself a calm rest of the day if you can. A walk, light stretching or simply resting are all good options. Some guests notice they need the restroom more often afterward, which is normal. Skip heavy meals and alcohol right after your session. If anything feels unusual, call us at (651) 490-3347.

How much does an Endermologie lymphatic session cost?

Please see current pricing for 60-minute Endermologie sessions and the 45-minute Endermologie Gua Sha Facial on our booking page. Member plans (Bronze $99, Silver $249, Gold $399 per month) include discounts and priority booking. Curious about the face version? Read our holistic and gua sha facial FAQ.
